WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
I'm in Shelbyville Indiana, I photograph in all the surrounding areas.
WHAT KIND OF PHOTOGRAPHER ARE YOU?
My work has been described as Authentic, Classic, Fun. I like to photograph in a lifestyle (candid) setting and adding in some traditional looking at the camera photos. All things Baby (maternity, birth, fresh 48 and newborn), Children, Families and Seniors are what I love to photograph, capturing each moment for everlasting memories, memories that will last forever. I am a minimalist photographer, meaning I do not use props in my photography.
As your photographer, I will provide a full gallery of images, images you will want to print and display in your home or show off in a photo album. Your gallery will contain color as well as black and white images. My portraits are classic and natural and edited in a light and airy way. I do not add or take away to portraits using heavy editing. I want to tell your story, in a way that is natural.
WHERE WILL MY SESSION BE HELD?
I have a small home studio in Shelbyville Indiana where I photograph maternity, newborn and milestone sessions (ages 6mos to 5yrs). Children, Families and Seniors are photographed at your favorite outside location in Shelbyville or surrounding areas. I am a natural light photographer; however, I will use flash and lighting in studio if needed.
WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP THE SESSION GO SMOOTHLY?
The best thing to do is to let stress go and enjoy the session. Babies and Kiddos pick up on the stress so just let go and have fun! I have learned with children just to let them be themselves, we will get the best images if we just let them act naturally. I have no problem running around photographing them in action, which tends to lead to the best photos. I will also give direction on what I want you to do, I like to play games, ask questions…anything to keep the kiddos interested, mom and dad too! I want your session to memorable I will email a questionnaire for you to fill out, this will help me plan your session.
WHEN DO NEWBORN SESSIONS OCCUR?
For my non-posed style (baby led posing) I like to photograph newborns from 2 weeks up to 1 month. Babies can be photographed in my home studio or in your home. Please take note, i do not use props.
WHEN DO BABY/CHILDREN MILESTONE SESSION OCCUR?
For babies I recommend 6, 8, 12 months and children 1 – 5 years…honestly, anytime you want to remember special moments of your baby or child(ren) age does not matter.

WILL I GET MY DIGITAL PHOTOS AFTER THE SHOOT?
Depending on the package you choose, you receive the high-resolution digital files downloadable from my online gallery or on a custom USB. I will also email a print release.
WHEN, HOW AND WHERE CAN I BUY ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AND PRODUCTS?
Within 3 – 4 weeks (depending on time of year) of your session, you will receive a link to my online gallery to view your digital files. You will have 2 weeks to download the digital files, the package you choose will tell you how many digital files you can pick. I also have an online store on the gallery where you can purchase prints, albums, photo books and canvases, you will have 2 weeks for that as well.
HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHICH IMAGES IN MY GALLERY FROM OUR SHOOT?
I look carefully at each and every image I capture at your session and hand select the best images to edit. I look for images that best represent my style and your family. I do not keep any digital files that is not edited.
HOW FAR OUT ARE YOU BOOKED?
I like to book 1 – 3 months in advance, especially in the Fall session when I am the busiest. Since I like to photograph newborns 2 weeks to 1 month, you can contact me before delivery or after. I try to keep few dates available during the month for any last-minute baby, children, family sessions.
DO YOU OFFER MINI-SESSIONS?
I do offer mini sessions but they tend to be more of a special session like Mommy and Me, Valentine Love Sessions etc. and are only offered certain times of the year. Be sure to join my GWP Circle to receive first access to book these special sessions before social media.
HOW MUCH DOES ALL OF THIS COST?
